Senior Manager / Head — Asset Acquisition & Repair Operations

Build the business. Win the assets. Run the operation. · Reupyog

We're looking for a commercially strong, highly experienced operator who can bring business opportunities, evaluate and win bulk asset lots, and build the operating engine to process them profitably.

This is not a conventional procurement role. You will own the entire commercial and operational loop.

You should be able to go from

Where are the next 5,000 assets coming from?
What should we bid?
How do we acquire and move them?
How do we process them at scale?
What did we actually make per unit?

About Reupyog

ReUpyog is India's circular economy platform for technology — converting used devices into performing assets through a nationwide network of verified partners, trained Saathis, and platform-enabled businesses. We connect every participant in the used-device value chain.

Your Mission

Build a repeatable engine for asset acquisition, bulk liquidation, repair and recovery. You will be expected to:

Generate and develop new business opportunities
Build relationships with asset owners and liquidation channels
Identify bulk asset lots and commercial opportunities
Evaluate lots and determine bid / purchase prices
Lead negotiations and commercial closure
Coordinate acquisition, logistics and inventory movement
Build the vendor and spare-parts ecosystem required to execute the work
Run large-scale testing, repair and quality operations
Improve recovery rates, turnaround time and technician productivity
Track true cost and profitability at item / lot level
Convert operational learning into better future bids

The Ultimate Question

Can you acquire the right assets at the right price and turn them into profitable outcomes at scale?

What You'll Own

Five areas, one loop — from sourcing the opportunity to knowing what it made.

01

Business & Opportunity Development

You will actively build the pipeline of opportunities rather than waiting for opportunities to arrive.

  • Develop relationships with corporates, institutions, enterprises, asset owners and liquidation partners
  • Identify upcoming bulk asset disposal and liquidation opportunities
  • Build a pipeline of potential acquisition opportunities and repeat relationships with major asset owners
  • Identify new channels for sourcing used devices and equipment
  • Represent ReUpyog in commercial discussions and negotiations

You should be comfortable opening doors yourself.

02

Bids, Acquisitions & Commercial Decisions

You will be responsible for determining what ReUpyog should buy and at what price.

  • Evaluate bulk lots on quantity, condition, age, configuration and recovery potential
  • Estimate testing, repair, logistics and other downstream costs, and build lot-level economics
  • Prepare bid and purchase recommendations; set maximum bid thresholds based on expected economics
  • Participate in auctions, tenders and commercial negotiations
  • Coordinate acquisition and movement of purchased inventory

You should be able to look at a 1,000–5,000 unit lot and make a commercially defensible buying decision.

03

Large-Scale Repair & Recovery Operations

Once an opportunity is won, you will own the execution.

  • Plan capacity and work-order sequencing
  • Coordinate testing, diagnosis, repair, QC and dispatch
  • Manage technicians and repair partners
  • Track repair yield, recovery rates, turnaround time and productivity
  • Establish SOPs and quality controls, and scale operations as volumes increase
04

Procurement & Vendor Network

Build the supply ecosystem required to execute large volumes efficiently.

  • Source spare parts, components, consumables, tools and equipment
  • Develop and manage supplier relationships
  • Negotiate pricing, quality, payment terms and delivery
  • Develop alternate suppliers for critical components
  • Build reliable procurement systems for high-volume operations
05

Unit Economics & Profitability

You will be expected to know whether the business actually makes money.

  • Track item-level and lot-level costs, and repair cost per unit
  • Analyse yield and recovery; identify sources of leakage and wastage
  • Compare estimated vs. actual economics
  • Feed actual outcomes back into future bidding decisions
  • Build dashboards and systems for profitability tracking

Purchase cost → Logistics → Testing → Parts → Labour → Other processing → Recovery yield → Resale value → Contribution.

You are expected to build the network required to scale the business.

You are not just receiving business.

You are expected to help create the pipeline that feeds the operation.

This Role Is for You If…

You enjoy finding the opportunity and figuring out how to execute it.

You can walk into a room with a corporate asset owner, negotiate a commercial deal, evaluate the economics, win the lot, and then walk into the workshop and figure out how to process 2,000 units.

Commercial brain + operator mindset.
